Kerrow House in Glen Affric is situated discreetly in twelve acres of wooded grounds, close to several of the most beautiful Glens in Scotland; Glen Affric, Glen Cannich, and Glen Strathfarrar.
This area is one of outstanding natural beauty, home to some of the last remnants of Scottish woodland, the "Ancient Caledonian Pine Forests" and diverse wildlife, such as deer, pine martens, red squirrels and ospreys.
Wilderness like this is increasingly sought, and enjoyed as a relief from the stress of modern city life. Kerrow House provides some of the best holiday accommodation in the Strathglass area, gateway to Glen Affric and Glen Cannich, and is easily accessible from Beauly or Loch Ness via Glen Urquhart.
Kerrow House is close to the villages of Cannich and Tomich. Cannich has a general store, post office and two bars and a café all providing food. Tomich is a picturesque conservation village, built in the mid-19th century for the workers of the Guisachan Estate.
Those planning a longer stay in the Strathglass area, to explore the glens, to climb some of Glen Affric's spectacular Munros, or to seek out some of the unique and rare wildlife that inhabits the Caledonian forests, might prefer our selection of self-catering accommodation.
